Ebike
The room worked through how to double a new bike model's range (60 to 120 km) without breaking a 25 kg weight limit or a 1100 price ceiling. Starting from a simple "just double the battery" instinct, participants tested that idea against weight and cost constraints and found it failed both, then rebuilt the approach by first stacking efficiency gains (motor, aerodynamics, tires) and only afterward calculating how much smaller a battery those savings would allow. This produced a converging configuration: a premium ~1.07 kWh battery, a more efficient motor, an aluminium frame, and aero/tire improvements, estimated to land near 120 km range, about 23 kg, and roughly 70 euros over the price ceiling.
